This shop mainly wholesales to high-end restaurants. It orders rare seafood that cannot be found in other stores from all over Japan – Hokkaido to Kyushu. "We also go to Akashi, Maizuru, and Miyazu to purchase directly," the owner says. They also do retail sales to the general public.

"We have been in business for about 100 years and have had this store in Nishiki Market for about 70 years. Our motto has always been to 'buy only the best and sell only the best' to meet the demands of our discerning and knowledgeable customers."

"I don't know what will happen when the next generation succeeds, but I want to keep the business the way it is as long as I'm in charge," the owner says.
